Miller Engineering & Research Corporation (MERC) has performed stress analysis on the Fokker 50 and Fokker 100 fuselage and wing designs. The following additional aircraft structures have been analyzed:
- Boeing 777 nacelles stress analysis
- Boeing 737 fuselage stress analysis
- Northrop Grumman E-2D fuselage stress analysis
- Boeing Chinook helicopter fuselage stress analysis
MERC has also performed dynamic analyses, loads, and aeroelasticity evaluations for the following airframes:
- Boeing Chinook helicopter water landing loads evaluation
- Loads and dynamics for Northrop Grumman E-2D aircraft and all its components
- Structural response and flutter analysis of the Boeing 777 fuselage fin
- Aeroelastic design of a single engine plane – Diamond Wings
MERC has performed analyses of airframe modifications to the following airframes and structures to ensure structural integrity per FAA regulations and can provide assistance with the QA buyoffs for the aircraft to return to service.
- Structural and stress analysis of the Boeing Chinook helicopter redesign ramp
- Northrop Grumman E-2D aircraft redesign for improved manufacturing
MERC has supported integration and test operations of the following aircraft. This includes modal testing, dynamic loads testing and fatigue testing.
- Flight loads acquisition and evaluation of Northrop Grumman E-2D aircraft
- Structural testing of Fokker 50 and Fokker 100 fuselage panels
- Fatigue testing and damage tolerance evaluation of the Fokker 100 airframe
- Dynamic testing of the Northrop Grumman E-2D aircraft components
- Modal Testing of the Northrop Grumman E-2D subsystems when integrated on the aircraft
